Introduction

In 2026 the beautiful city of Antwerp will host the annual hydrographic conference. The conference will be organized by the Hydrographic Society Benelux. With a history of successful hydrographic conference in Rotterdam, we will be back in Antwerp after 20 years.

Antwerp is the major port for Belgium and gives access to the North Sea through the Scheldt river.

Hydro2026 will be held in a truly maritime environment and various hydrographic vessels will be moored in one of the near harbours.

As usual, the conference will offer a full scientific programme, covering the latest developments in hydrography, and an exhibition. There will be plenty opportunity to meet colleagues during the coffee and lunch breaks. On Wednesday night the traditional conference dinner will held.
